モノル語学院フォトエッセーコンテスト受賞作－Essential Intermediate ESL

こんにちは。モノル語学院です。

引き続き、intermediate 中級のレベルの受賞作品をご紹介いたします。

モノル語学院のESL過程である Essential Intermediateレベル１位の栄光はジュリーです。

バギオ語学研修の期間中、バッチメイトとともに訪れた、

フィリピン北部の代表的な観光地と同時にユネスコ指定文化遺産の旅行記を提出しました。

Summer in the Philippines

Before I came here, i thought that this area is dangerous but now, I changed my opinion.

This area is really a good place to live expecially in Baguio.

I really wanted to go somewhere so I planned my travel with my friends.

We wanted to fo to Sagada so we planed. We've already traveled with a van

so at this time, we wanted to use a bus to save a lot of money.

Even though the road was not gooe and seats were not comfortable, we enjoyed while riding a bus with a nice view.

When we arrived there we were able to find our tour guides easily.

First, we put our baggage in our room and the after lunch, we went to Sumaguing cave.

When we arrived at the entrance, we were really surprised because the entrance was magnificant.

We had to make pictures. After that, we went in the cave.

We had to be careful because rocks were very slippery.

After 15 minutes, we took off our shoes and we kept on going with our adventure.

Even though it was very dark and a little danerous, we were very exicted.

We've never experienced this adventure.

Sometimes, we felt scared but at that time, we could feel an achievement.

When we finished, we thought that we wanted to do more adventure

but we didn't have enough time so we had to leave.

In the evening, we were able to enjoy our dinner because we were really hungry.

The family who accommodated us was really kind so we felt comfortable.

We were really tired so we had to sleep early.

Even though we were exhausted and tired, we think that this memory is unforgettable to us.

We could feel a lot of emotions during our adventure.

So, I really want to recommend this trip if you want to feel the challenge and adventrue.

I made the best memories in Monol

What are the best memories that you have had?

What are the good things that happened to you in Monol?

I suppose that everyday in Monol offered me great memories. I think Monol is a samll society.

In Monol, there are all kinds of people such as university students, office workers, high school students, and others.

So I can meet people who have a variety of jobs and have different personalities.

And I can also meet people from other countries like Japnese, Chineses, and Arab.

That is the first good thing.

​Secondly, I live in the dormitory so I have roommates. We always talk about their problems, classes, and other things.

We always share so I learned a lot about life based on their experiences.

And we are always together. It means they are my Monol family.

Sometimes, we go to the sauna and usually go to the gym. When we are hungry, we go to the store.

When I leave, I will miss them.

Thirdly, I love my teachers. When I met my teachers at first, I was a little nervous, but they are very kind.

After that, teachers are not teahcers any longer. I'm not a student any longer.

We became friends. Especially, when I have some problems, my teacher are my consultants.

Actually, during my first term, I lost many things like my phone and a gold necklace.

That time, teachers gave good advice to me. And last term was a very difficult time for me because I had a lot of problems such as my ex-boyfriend, sickness, and studies but now, I'm really okay because of them.

In addition, I really like my classes. I don't get stressed because of my teachers.

Finally, I like meeting new people and learning new things.

I have a lot of friends in Monol even though they are not my batch mates

so I'm really happy and lucky because I have learned English enjoyably.

Nowadays, my leaving day is getting close. So I always reminisce.

I will really miss my Monol life, especially teachers, roommates, friends,

the store, dining area, the roof top, my penalty, etc.

I think those are unforgettable memoreis in my life.

If I have a chance, I want to meet all Monol people.
